I would suggest to try the procedure mentioned below to connect your mouse with the Powerplay. If you are able to charge the mouse using the USB cable, then it might be an issue with the Powerplay Wireless Charging System. If the firmware update doesn’t fix the issue, then the problem may be due to a hardware issue. Check for possible firmware updates in G HUB.
